About

CultureComp was developed based on Morey Consulting’s experience working with hundreds of cultural attractions since 1995. Throughout the last 29 years, we have learned the following:

  1. Most cultural attractions do not use data to define goals, develop strategies, or deploy tactics
  2. Most cultural attractions do not have access to data due to costs
  3. Most cultural attractions do not have staff with the expertise or experience unique to cultural attraction management

We developed CultureComp to address these issues. CultureComp collects market, attendance, marketing, visitor experience, membership, and pricing data from multiple sources on more than 12.7 million visitors to 810 cultural attractions in the Top 100 largest markets through our Positioning Reports, Cultural Attraction Trend Survey, and our National Cultural Engagement Survey. We use this data to broaden offerings through our KPI Reports which provide relevant data with actionable recommendations. Utilizing this data and our investment in reporting software, we are able to decrease the cost of these Reports.

We share data and our insights with CultureComp members via archived articles, quarterly reports, and annual surveys.
